The contents page in this issue of Acoustic is spread over two pages in neatly divided segments. The columns on the outer edges are filled with pictures, interviewed characters on the left and reviewed guitars and equipment on the right. Using this simple and neatly laid out arrangement coupled with distinctive red headings, these pages are very easy to navigate which is after all the most important trait of a contents page.
In the upper left, the largest image distinguishes itself immediately as being the main article of this issue, the use of either black on light or white on dark text on these images makes the text more visible but still remains themed and homogeneous.
The 'Gear' section is immediately distinguished by its teal background and it's layered images of guitars allow the reader to immediately notice that this is a column for highly specialised articles on guitars and is a unique trait that appeals to thee magazine's niche audience.
