A dynamic cover for this issue of What's On that applies an interesting use of colours.

The presence of two complementary colours, purple and yellow, is put to good use with a mostly purple cover with random splashes of yellow adding in some well noticed colour; small streaks of blue and orange do well in complementing the purple. The purpose of these various colours are to break up the dominant purple.

The masthead is a large yet smooth font in yellow and purple along with the issue's number and release date, the word "On" and the date stand out, written in yellow. In the center lies the only cover line which resembles a flyer, although centralized the purple and black font blends in with the background.

In the background we can see a white and purple globe, to the left a black and white solarized runner; further monochrome people are placed on the lower and lower right portions of the cover. Through the use of solarisation all these people have been blended into the cover with only the black shadows setting them apart.
