Looking at this chart, I can see that my magazine's target audience should include both men and women as they are both an equal part of my audience.

From these results I can see that I should be aiming at youths from their teens to mid/late twenties. to accomplish this I shall include content relevant to the modern day but also include 'old school' sections that will attract both older audiences but also add a greater variety in content, again furthering my potential audience range.

These results tell me that popular genres are too varied to focus on any specific one, therefore I shall focus on one genre, rock, which is the most popular and included a great many subgenres which by covering i can attract a wider range of readers while still keeping with the rock genre that interest my current readers. As all content will be within the genre of rock, my readers tastes may expand to newer subgenres genres which allows to enjoy my magazine even further.

From this chart I can see that people will mostly read only 1-2 magazines a month, therefore I must emulate popular magazines in order to conserve audience interest and cover a large area of the rock genre so that my readers have less reason to invest in a specialised nice magazine as their once a moth issue and instead read mine which covers multiple areas.

Using the information from this chart I can see that a fairly low price would interest potential readers. I will place the price at £2.90 which is within the price range desired by my readers without being so low as to affect the quality of my magazine.

Looking at this graph I can see that reputation is the most attractive element of a magazine therefore I shall emulate the styles of the most popular music magazines. Relevant articles are also a major factor so I will make sure that my magazine clearly illustrates it's contents on the front cover.

GRAPH MISSING

I shall use the information gathered from this graph to decide which music magazines I should attempt to emulate. While they are all popular, NME is the most popular followed by The Fly so I shall draw the most inspiration from these two magazines.
