This front cover to "Hollywood MusicMagazine" is immediately striking with an entirely artwork based cover that stands out from its peers.
The cover lines are bold, outlined and exclusively black and white which makes them easily distinguishable from the artwork but despite the homogeneity are bold enough to stand out individually. The main cover line however is integrated into the artwork and are coloured in explosive tints of red, orange and yellow, all enhanced by a black background. Each word of the main cover line is coloured differently allowing them all to stand out and the main cover element, a skeleton in a battered top hat, surrounds them causing the entire cover to center around this one cover line, more so than the title itself; which is simply a larger negative version of the the normal cover lines with a slightly different font.
Atop the cover sits a bright yellow band, advertising the "CD Reviews" within, this use of bright colours allows this element to stand out despite its small size.
